What is the Global Pluralism Award?

Recognizing Pluralism in Action

The Global Pluralism Award recognizes pluralism in action. Presented every other year to individuals, organisations, governments and businesses from around the world, the Award celebrates the inspiring and brave work that is helping to build more inclusive societies where diversity is valued and protected.   

What is Pluralism?

Pluralism is a positive response to diversity. It involves taking decisions and actions, as individuals and societies, which are grounded in respect for diversity.

The Jury

The international jury for the Award is made up of distinguished members from a range of disciplines and backgrounds.

Selection Process

Through a multi-stage process, the jury will select awardees that have demonstrated exceptional and sustained achievement for pluralism.
