In June 2024, and in partnership with the Aga Khan Museum, Deeyah Khan was featured in the second live-recording of the Aga Khan Museum’s podcast This Being Human. In this powerful conversation with host Abdul-Rehman Malik, Deeyah delved into her career as a documentary filmmaker countering extremism and fostering understanding across ideological, religious and racial divides. She reflected on the importance of listening with curiosity, locating the humanity in the other, and holding onto hope amidst dark moments.
